"TM is a kind and intuitive guide
who knows how to live and
laugh, and how to inspire you
to do the same. Plus, she has
a wonderful ability to tell you
in no uncertain terms exactly
what you need to hear, and to
do it in such a caring and
gentle way as to make you
glad you listened."

Leadership - Making a Difference Wherever You Are
Getting ahead in a difficult
profession requires avid faith in yourself.
That is why some people with
mediocre talent, but with great inner drive,
go much further than people with vastly superior talent.

-
Who are you becoming?
-
What is your impact?
-
What is the difference you want to make?
-
What agreements do you live by?
-
How do you measure who you are?
-
What do you want to excel in?
- Why is what you do/want
important?
These are great questions extraordinary leaders ask themselves. Like
an athlete stretches to strengthen their abilities not only
in being the best athletically
in their chosen sport, but also in their abilities to dream,
visualize, plan, take action, and work with a coach to train them
beyond
self-imposed limitations.
Leaders are intentional in reaching an outcome and know what
is at stake.
We grow up designed by our environment and social pressures
to behave in certain ways. Gradually we lose touch with our
inherent purpose
and become reactive
to life rather than intentional. We develop masks to please
others at the expense of shutting down our own spontaneity.
When we
choose the
road to being liked
we give up who we are and who we are meant to be. It is
a high price to pay – we
give up being on purpose. Are you following or leading?
Self-awareness is not exactly an easy road. It is simple, but
not easy. It is challenging both from old programming in
your mind
and the demands
of agreements
in the world not necessarily those of your true self. Transcendence
to being extraordinary is already within you. You inner
self is a muscle waiting to be
exercised to go beyond the limits of ordinary experience.
The verb transcend is described in the dictionary as: To rise
above or go beyond the limits of; to triumph over the negative
or restrictive
aspect of; to OVERCOME;
to outstrip or outdo in some attribute, quality; synonym: EXCEED.
Every time you don't follow
your inner guidance,
you feel a loss of energy, loss of power, a sense of spiritual deadness.
-Shaki Gawain
If
I don¹t
manage to fly, someone else will.
The spirit wants only that there be flying.
- Rainer Maria Rilke
